If you want to find out what it is like to breathe underwater but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving will let you try scuba to see if you like it. The program is usually conducted in a pool or beach. While not an actual scuba certification, during the Discover Scuba Diving program you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to your undersea adventure.

Plus, you can get credit! If your Discover Scuba Diving program includes an actual scuba dive in open water, your experience may count toward PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver certification, should you decide to go a step further in diving.

If you’ve always wanted to learn how to scuba dive, discover new adventures or simply see the wondrous world beneath the waves, take the PADI Open Water Diver Course -- the world’s most popular scuba course that has introduced millions of people to the adventurous diving lifestyle.

The Open Water course will teach you everything you need to know to become a certified diver. If you’ve tried diving through a Discover Scuba Diving program, the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Diver course certification.

The Rescue Diver Course builds upon what you’ve already learned. This course is both challenging and rewarding because it expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur.

In this course you will learn the following: Self Rescue, Recognizing and Managing Stress in Other Divers, Emergency Management and Equipment, Rescuing Panicked Divers and Rescuing Unresponsive divers. Though most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, the fun part about it is rising to the challenges and mastering them.

Get a career from scuba! Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. Working closely with a PADI Instructor, this program will help you expand your dive knowledge and master your skills to the professional level. PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. PADI Divemaster is the prerequisite certification for both the PADI Assistant Instructor and PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certifications.

During the PADI Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study. You complete water skills and stamina exercises, as well as training exercises that stretch your ability to organize and solve problems as well as help others improve their scuba.
